Sizing Guides
Rings and Bangles
The most accurate way to work out your ring size is to visit any high street jeweller. Sizes vary between each finger and also between hands. If you are unable to do this I have a small plastic belt style multi sizer available to purchase for £1.85p
UK ring sizes are in alphabetical order, A being the smallest working up to Z+
To work out the size of bangle needed, firstly fold your thumb into the palm of your hand and place a tape measure around the broadest part of your hand. If you don't have a tape measure you can simply use a strip of paper or length of string, mark it with a pen then lay it out flat against a ruler to get the measurement in centimetres.
Equally if you have an existing bangle that fits well you can measure the inner diameter to gauge the size.
Petite: 6cm
Medium: 6.5cm
Large: 7cm
Hallmarking
In the UK, silver items that weigh 7.78 grams or more are legally required to be hallmarked. The hallmark, applied by an Assay Office indicates the item's purity and authenticity. The hallmark must include the makers mark, metal and finess mark ( 925 for Sterling Silver), and the Assay Office mark.
